What we fund

Every year, funds are allocated to practical projects that protect children, support women, and strengthen community resilience. These priorities shift based on what local leaders need most.

SSN Projects

1. The Hostel
The hostel currently supports 17 children, providing safe accommodation, daily meals, access to education, and consistent care. The children range in age, with some arriving very young and the focus is on stability, safety, and continuity, creating an environment where they can grow, learn, and feel secure.

2. The Training Centre
Skills training that changes future outcomes, including tech, leadership, dressmaking, agriculture and community learning.

3. Home builds and essentials
Safe shelter for families in crisis, plus essentials like toilets and basic infrastructure that restore dignity and health.

4. Community day and direct support
Food support, clothing distribution, and community connection.

Taking a stand against trafficking and abuse through our partnership with Asha Nepal

Alongside our own community initiatives, we also actively fundraise for and support Asha Nepal, a Kathmandu-based organisation dedicated to helping women and children who have experienced trafficking, exploitation and extreme vulnerability rebuild their lives with dignity.

Asha Nepal provides safe housing, education, counselling, skills training and long-term pathways into independence. Many of the women they support go on to become artisans, makers and small business owners, creating a future that is self-sustaining rather than dependent onaid.

How we contribute

A portion of selected fundraising activities and events is directed to Asha Nepal, alongside periodic project-based contributions. These funds help support:

Safe accommodation and daily living needs

Education for children in care

Vocational training and employment pathways

Healthcare and trauma support

Reintegration into independent living

Sustainable farming initiatives designed to support long-term self-sufficiency.

What a donation can do

These examples help make the impact tangible. Every year we publish priorities and spend updates.
